Architecture
New Orleans is one of the oldest cities in the country and that history is on display in the architecture you’ll see there. Whether architecture is your thing or not, you’ll enjoy the charming mix of styles, cultures, and color the buildings in New Orleans have to offer.
From the Creole Cottages and townhouses of the French Quarter to the regal urban versions of Colonial plantations of the Garden District, you’ll see a unique mix of styles you’re unlikely to see any place else.
Outdoors
If you’re ready for more outdoor adventure after your skydiving experience, there are plenty of places to get outdoors in New Orleans.
City Park and The Lakefront both offer a mellow outdoor experience. They’re easily accessible and shaded by live oaks, making them great picnic spots.
If you’re up for some more physical activity, there are numerous biking trails to choose from in the area, or you can take a kayak tour through the city’s many bayous and swamps.
Food
You can’t visit New Orleans without trying some of the amazing food the city is known for. From jambalaya and po’boys to gumbo or boiled crawfish, the food you’ll find in New Orleans is spicy, delicious and filled with flavor and cultural history. Some of the best neighborhoods for dining include Uptown, Lakeview, and the Garden District.
Entertainment
New Orleans is a city known for its music, culture, and love of fun. You can find everything from historical museums, to art and live entertainment on your visit to this vibrant city. There are several art walks and markets as well as local museums like the New Orleans Museum of Art or the Ogden Museum of Southern Art.
If music is your thing, see some live jazz at any of the great venues offering daily shows, like the Spotted Cat Music Club or the Maple Leaf Bar.
